Just ordered the X2010's for my 2002 Ford F-150....and the only thing that I can say is....WOW! Not only do the fixtures look cool even with the lights off.....they look GRRREAT with the lights on. I had SilverStars in their before these new HIDs...and the SilverStars were MUCH better than the OEM halogen...but there simply is NO comparison to HID. The cutoff is crisp, the down-road lighting is sublime and the color is PERFECT. Very white with a tint of blue. Gorgeous I say....GORGEOUS!
I was very diappointed with the stock headlights on my 2003 F-150. No penetration. Virtually useless on dark mountain roads at night.
The Sylvania X-2010 HID kit is a quantum leap in light propagation and focus. Nice tight, well-defined, incredibly bright beam. The H9 high beam bulb does an amazingly goo job in adding light where needed. The kit is a supremely well-engineered package. It truly IS a plug-and-play installation!
Bruce (the owner) was right on all counts. Can't recommend it enough!
I bought this set of Xenarcs for my 2002 King Ranch F-150. After being very unhappy with the stock headlights, I upgraded appearance-wise to SVT Lightning headlights. Bad idea for performance! The Lightning headlights have an output a lot worse than the stock lights. I knew of the Xenarcs from a friend of mine that bought them and had nothing but praise for them. So after being dissapointed with the Lightning headlights, I took the plunge and dropped the $455 and bought the Xenarcs. The best investment I've made in my truck, ever! When I drive to areas where it is pitch black, I turn off the lights and turn them on often because even after having them for almost a year, I am still amazed at how much they light up the road!
I definately recommend these to any F-150 owner!! Huge appearance, and GIGANTIC function improvement. You honestly won't believe how great they are. You won't regret the purchase at all!!
I'm interested in purchasing a set of the Xenarc X2010's for my 2002 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning. Does anybody know if the headlight buckets will fit in place of my stockers? I looked all over sylvania osrams website to no success.
i've heard of people putting the stock lightning headlight housings on their regular F150s and expiditions, but i don't know if the Xenarcs will plop right into place on my SVT.
